GUIDELINES

[ Poster Guidelines ]

Poster dimensions should be A0 portrait format, i.e. 84.1 cm (width) by 118.9 cm (height), to fit the poster boards. The common US format of 36 inch (width) by 48 inch (height) is also suitable.

Please print your poster before traveling to the conference. There is no poster printing service on site during the conference.

Please include title and author list on your poster as provided in the abstract submission form in order to help others to find your research quickly. Also underline the name of the presenting author.

There will be three poster sessions at WATOC. They will take place in the four rooms Foajeen, Spiseriet Møller, Messaninen, and Torgutsikten. The sessions are organized based on the ID number that each abstract received. This ID number has been communicated to poster presenters in an email and can also be checked in the Book of Abstracts.

Session 1 on Monday: all posters with abstract ID in the range 1-329

   – Torgutsikten: ID in range 1-55

   – Messaninen: ID in range 60-129

   – Spiseriet Møller: ID in range 132-232

   – Foajeen: ID in range 234-329

Session 2 on Tuesday
: all posters with abstract ID in the range 330-617

   – Torgutsikten: ID in range 330-372

   – Messaninen: ID in range 373-425

   – Spiseriet Møller: ID in range 427-518

   – Foajeen: ID in range 520-617

Session 3 on Thursday
: all posters with abstract ID in the range 618-1007

   – Torgutsikten: ID in range 618-662

   – Messaninen: ID in range 665-753

   – Spiseriet Møller: ID in range 754-869

   – Foajeen: ID in range 876-1010

(Gaps in these ranges are due to oral presentations and posters sharing the same ID numbering system, so not all ID numbers refer to poster abstracts.) Minor adjustments to the ranges assigned to each room may occur during the sessions.

Poster boards will be marked with the abstract IDs. In the hour before the assigned poster session, each presenter locates the poster board with their ID number and puts up the poster. Posters are attached with needles or a type of Velcro attachments, both provided at the venue. At the end of each poster session, all presenters need to take down their posters.
